Woods-Wine-Wellness – a holiday castle of the special kind
You have the choice of spending your exciting holiday in yesteryear - that is a comfortable apartment in the castle – or in the present, i.e. newly-built wooden holiday homes.
Get to know the Wildberghof, romantically situated on a wooded hill. You will live in comfortable holiday apartments, holiday homes or in spacious guest rooms in the castle tower.
Discover your favourite spot under the Linden tree in the castle yard or enjoy a magnificent view of the tree-tops from the hot tub on the patio of your holiday home.
The Wildberghof is, however, always an ideal starting point for hiking, cycle tours or discovery trips to the towns of Würzburg, Rothenburg o.d.Tauber, Bamberg etc.
And what better way to end the day than with a glass of our own Franconian wine on your patio in the evening!
Our Wildberghof lies on a wooded hill near the village of Ulsenheim in the southern area of the Steigerwald between Würzburg, Ansbach and Rothenburg o.d.Tauber. The well-known Spa town of Bad Windsheim, with its Frankentherme Spa, its Open-Air Museum and its 18-hole golf course is only a short hop away.
Enjoy a relaxing walk or cycle ride through the nearby vineyards.
Our Biogas plant which supplies the castle with regenerative energy stands at the foot of the Wildberghof.
You will stay in our 4-star castle in holiday apartments and guest rooms with 1 – 2 bedrooms, TV, bathroom, living-dining area and fully-equipped kitchen. The Schlossgarten apartment features a four-poster bed; the Fürstengemach apartment has a specially large bed (2.20 metres).
The 4-star holiday homes feature two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two televisions, a living-dining kitchen area and – for that special treat - a garden patio with Jacuzzi. Bathrobes and slippers are provided for you.
We will greet you with Franconian wine from our own vineyard. Breakfast features local specialities and you may choose to have us stock your fridge for you.
